Summer camps are back! 🌿☀️

What a brilliant day of bug hunts, leaf printing, natural mandalas and energetic games of capture the flag. It’s been wonderful to see so much creativity, teamwork and outdoor fun in the woods.

Here’s to many more summer adventures! 🍃🐞

🌿✨ Two weeks of summer camps at Wild Nurture and what a brilliant start it’s been! From muddy boots and woodland adventures to big smiles, new friendships, and lots of memories made, we’ve loved every minute so far. Thank you to all the children and families who’ve joined us and brought so much energy, curiosity, and joy 💚🌞

What an amazing first week of camps!

Over 50 children have joined us across the week and enjoyed a huge range of activities, with something different each day and a different hot meal every day too.

These last two days we’ve been on a nature walk, made willow crowns, played wide games, completed a scavenger hunt and treasure hunt, made wood cookie necklaces, and built an epic den that was christened Hogwarts Castle!

A brilliant end to a brilliant week.

If you have teens that like to come to of an evening can you please remind them that the forest school area is for the benefit of children in our community and they shouldn’t be trying to collapse our shelter or smash up our pallets please 🙏

Another brilliant day at Pennington Flash summer camp!

We made stickman dolls, got creative with colouring, played capture the flag, tucked into hotdogs for lunch, and took on a wild obstacle course with brilliant kid-made names like the Slackline of Doom, the Treestump of Terror, the Hurdles of Hercules and the Stepping Stones of Ultimate Despair!

What a fantastic first day of our Pennington Flash summer camp!

We got messy with leaf printing, played wide games (including Hide and Sheep!), enjoyed a gorgeous sausage casserole from our friends at Café Eva, tried archery in the woods and ended with a cosy story circle under the trees.
