✨🌟 GET READY TO GLOW! 🌟✨

Our Leigh CE Glow Disco is coming on Thursday 22 October and we can’t wait!

As a Christian school, we don’t celebrate Halloween. Instead, we’re celebrating the light of Jesus with an afternoon of music, dancing, crafts, fun and lots of glow!

💡 KS1 | Reception to Year 2
3:15pm – 4:15pm

💡 KS2 | Year 3 to Year 6
4:30pm – 5:30pm

🎟️ £3.50 per ticket
Includes a snack, drink and a special gift.

✨ What can children wear?
KS1 children can bring clothes to change into for the disco, but must wear their school uniform during the school day.

There should be no Halloween or scary costumes. Glow sticks and flashing accessories are very welcome!

💷 Spending money
KS1 children do not need to bring spending money.
KS2 children may bring spending money to purchase additional items.

🎨 There will be:
✨ Dancing
✨ Glow fun
✨ Crafts
✨ Snacks and drinks
✨ Pocket Money gifts

💙 Ear defenders are welcome for children who may find a busy or noisy environment overwhelming.

🎟️ Tickets and permission slips

Letters will be sent home shortly. Permission slips and cash should be returned to school.

Ticket sales close on Tuesday 20 October, so please make sure tickets are purchased before the closing date.

🌟 CAN YOU HELP US GLOW? 🌟

All our events are run on a voluntary basis. Our staff very generously give up their time to make sure the children have a fantastic time, but we would love some extra help to make the disco happen.

If you can volunteer, please send a message on Dojo with your name and the time you are available to help.

✏️📸 BACK TO SCHOOL PHOTO COMPETITION! 📸✏️

The new school year is fast approaching and, to celebrate, the PTFA are holding there annual Back to School Photo Competition! 🎉

We want to see our wonderful pupils wearing their school uniforms with pride and ready to begin another exciting year at Leigh CE Primary School.

Whether it’s a special first day photo, a beaming smile with siblings, or a fun snap with fellow classmates, we want to celebrate those proud “back to school” moments with you! 📸

🏆 And there’s a prize!

Every entry will have an equal chance of winning, with our winners chosen at random. Winners will receive FREE ticket(s) to our upcoming Glow Disco in October✨

🎉 How to enter:

1. Like the Leigh CE Primary School PTFA page.
2. Send your photo to us by Messenger.
3. Include your child’s name and class.
4. Please make sure you’re happy for us to share the photo on our page.
5. Prizes are open to Reception to Year 6 pupils only.

🎉 PTFA Summer Fair is Nearly Here! 🎉

Join us for our Leigh CE Primary School PTFA Summer Fair on Tuesday 7 July from 3:15pm!

There’ll be something for everyone, with lots of fantastic stalls and games to enjoy, including:

⚽ Beat the Goalie and see if you can score past Mr Greaves!
💦 A selection of our brave staff will be taking their turn in the Teachers’ Stocks, so get your sponges ready!

Please be aware that we will NEVER contact stallholders by email requesting payment, and we will NEVER ask for payment via PayPal.

All stall bookings are arranged directly through our official PTFA page, and payments are only made to our dedicated PTFA bank account.

We do not use any third parties, agents, or external companies to book stalls on our behalf.

If you receive any emails or messages claiming to be from us and asking for payment, please do not respond or send any money. Instead, contact us directly through our page.

We were so impressed by the creativity, effort, and enthusiasm shown in all of the entries for our PTFA Logo Competition. Choosing a winner was incredibly difficult because every design was unique and thoughtful.

We are delighted to announce that the winner is:

🏆 Mitanya

Mitanya’s fantastic design has been used to create our brand-new PTFA logo.

Thank you to everyone who took part. We loved all of the entries and hope to feature some of the other wonderful designs in future PTFA signage and projects.

A huge well done to all of our entrants. Every child who entered will receive a prize as a thank you for their hard work and creativity. Prizes will be distributed shortly.
