My classes can be ‘challenging’ in places, but I’m not here to “put you through your paces” if you want to lay down or go into child’s pose Ill embrace that. I won’t be forcing you through drills, telling you what you must work on to get into a pose, forcing you into a pose no matter how uncomfortable if it’s slightly off alignment, to me, that is not yoga. It’s forceful & full of my ego. Your body will strengthen and open in time & if not 🤷🏽♀️ it’s amazing and perfect and supports you every day already, let’s love it not make it feel bad, but if your mind gets stronger and more flexible well then that’s pretty special. To put it simply I do not have intentions to make you feel like this is another area of your life where you need to keep striving, where your practise isn’t good enough, where you are not good enough.
I hope to create a space where you feel free, open & connected. I want you to laugh, give new seemingly challenging things a go, but mainly in order to let go (of fear mainly) to breathe, to feel, to take a moment to pay attention to yourself, to notice your breath, your body, what’s happening in this moment, the souls around you. Love is my yoga.
