Busy Bates’ Childcare

Today we released our beautiful butterflies at the park with our friends.
It’s been such a lovely experience watching our tiny caterpillars grow and change, seeing them form their cocoons and finally emerge as beautiful butterflies.
The children have loved watching every stage of their journey at Emma’s house and today it was time to say goodbye and watch them fly away
It’s Such a wonderful hands on learning experience and a lovely reminder that children are always learning through the world around them
(I was even brave helping the last one out as you can see by my face I was unsure 🤣)

While we were enjoying our time at the park yesterday, the children spotted my husband walking by 🥰

There was lots of excited waving, pointing and shouting, “Jason!” as they watched him walk through the park …..Sometimes it’s the simplest moments that bring the biggest smiles!!!

After a lovely holiday making special memories with my own children, I’m looking forward to welcoming all my little ones back.
I will be back open from Tuesday 14th July. I can’t wait to see everyone and hear all about your adventures!!

On Thursday, my co-childminders and I hired a bouncy slide for our school leavers’ party, and what a fantastic day it was! 🥰

The children had so much fun bouncing, laughing, and sharing lunch together with their friends. It was the perfect way to celebrate this special milestone before they begin their next adventure at school.

So many precious memories were made, and it was wonderful to see the children making the most of their last days together. We wish all of our school leavers the very best as they start their exciting new chapter. 💙🦋

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures. Thank you for all the love, support and special memories you create every day.

We have had such a lovely morning visiting our local garden centre our intentions was to get a new book to go with our theme but the book shop didn’t have it.. but it didn’t matter as we had so much fun in the soft play and an obligatory visit to see the fish 🐟
