One of the questions I was asked at the gym this morning was:
“What’s your focus now that the wedding is over?”
The truth is… my goals haven’t changed😅
Getting married was a huge milestone!! But it was never the finish line🤭
I never wanted to become the “best version” of myself for one day - that seems like such a waste!!
I want to keep becoming a better version of myself for the rest of my life🥰
I think that’s why I find it easy to stay consistent - I don’t feel the need to “get back on track” because there isn’t a final destination💁🏻♀️
My routine isn’t something I’m waiting to be finished with, it’s the foundation to my life and my happiness🤭
My focus has never really been about a number on the scales or fitting into a dress.
It’s about feeling strong, healthy and confident.
Having the energy to enjoy life and the resilience to handle whatever it throws at me.
The wedding may be over, but the commitment I made to myself isn’t💗
So, what’s my focus now?
To keep showing up. To keep getting stronger. To keep choosing the habits that make me feel good♥️✨🦋
Because the goal was never one day.
It’s a lifetime (and marriage) of feeling my best🤍

5 weeks in and here’s what we’ve achieved…
🥦 Nutrition has improved tenfold - understanding more about FUEL > CALORIES
⚖️ Weight down by 3kg
💪🏻 Weights going up every week, in every session
📏 Waist down by 3cm
⬆️ Energy levels have increased massively
📆 STRUCTURE to my training schedule
💧 Conscious of water intake - 2L per day is now my BARE minimum (used to be 500ml oops)
Soooo many improvements all round & I couldn’t feel happier!! Life has been testing recently for many reasons but focusing on my training, my walking and my food has:
1. Helped distract me
2. Helped keep me calm
3. Helped me stay on track
