What an amazing final party we had! 🥰 thank you Watermead Rose Care Home

There was so much fun and laughter with our splash pools 💦, sandpits 🏖️ and garden games 🎯. We enjoyed yummy party food, party games and, of course, plenty of our Sidney Shakers favourites! 🎶🦘

But the best part, as always, was seeing the beautiful interactions between the children and the residents. 💕 Those little moments of smiles, laughter and friendship are exactly what Sidney Shakers is all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us for our beach parties this summer — we’ve made some gorgeous memories together! ☀️💦🦘

💙 Sometimes it’s the simplest moments that stay with you forever…

I’ll be sharing lots more photos from today’s session tomorrow, but tonight I just had to share this one.

One of the wonderful residents decided he wanted to join in the splash pool. Off came the socks, in went his feet, and before long he was splashing the water, laughing, and chuckling away with pure joy.

One of our little Sidney Shakers happily joined him, spending time playing together without a second thought.

This is exactly why I do what we do. Different generations, different life stories, brought together through play, laughter, and simple moments of connection.

It was a truly heartwarming moment that reminded us all that you’re never too old to play. 💙💦☀️

What an amazing morning at Cedar House Residential Care Home filled with smiles, laughter and so much fun! 💙

We had:

🏖️ Sandpits
⛺ Tents
🚇 Tunnels
🎲 Lots of fun games

As well as singing some of our favourite Sidney Shakers songs, we enjoyed plenty of free play, lots of giggles, and finished the session with some yummy food! 🍉🧃

Thank you to everyone who came along and made our first summer party so special. We can’t wait to do it all again at our next one! ☀️💛
