Our lower gallery has been transformed into a colourful eco extravaganza. Here's a sneak peek! 👀
There's so much to see, learn and get involved with, so whether you're passionate about nature or just looking for something different, there's something for everyone 🌼🌿
📅 The exhibition is open Monday to Friday, 9:00am–4:30pm, until Friday 14 August, so make sure you pop in before it's gone!

🎨🖼️ Watercolour Beginner to Gallery Exhibitor
Suraiya joined our Watercolour for Beginners course to develop her skills and explore a new creative hobby. Through the support of her tutor and fellow learners, she built confidence, improved her techniques and exhibited her artwork in our learner exhibition.

Our Local History courses take you on a journey through the heritage, people and places that have shaped our city across the centuries.

🧵 Textile history of Roman Leicester (Wednesdays, 1-3pm, for 3 weeks starting 4 November) 👉 Uncover the origins and evolution of Leicester’s textile industry and its impact on local communities

Meet Betül, this year’s winner of the Frank Kerslake Award! 🏆🎨
Betül’s beautiful charcoal portrait, ‘Experiencing Time’, was selected as the winning piece by our external judges at this year’s 'We Present: Leicester Adult Education' exhibition 🖼️
This award was created in memory of Frank Kerslake, a much-loved member of our learner community, and celebrates creativity, originality and artistic expression.
Betül said winning the award felt “surreal” and was a “wonderful and unexpected surprise”. She also shared how her art course has helped her build confidence, improve her wellbeing and become part of a supportive creative community ❤️
