I am thrilled to present an evening of musical theatre songs sung by James King; a musical theatre singer with whom i have had the pleasure of directing and coaching through various shows before he went to have great success at Urdang Academy! James will be bringing a selection of his favourite examples of musical theatre repertoire to perform for a night, accompanied by me on piano!

In addition, I will be presenting 3 performers: Imogen Drinkwater, Annabelle Boddington and Hattie Moore who I have worked with over the years either as their MD and/or their singing teacher. I’m so grateful that they have agreed to perform a few of the songs that we worked on; they are all incredibly talented and are forces to be reckoned with in the local theatre scene of Leicester and the Midlands!

The event is strictly limited to an audience of 50 and is set in the basement of the Real Ale Classroom; an intimate venue where you will be able to really see and hear the performers up close. There will be no opportunity to watch a livestream of the event - in person only on this occasion.

We are raising money for the society to put towards their next show “The Great British Bake Off” being perfomred at the Little Theatre, 13th-17th October, 2026.
