This month in our toddler room, we’ve been enjoying our Book of the Month, “A Peep Inside the Garden.” 🌿🐞

The children have been busy exploring the wonderful world of minibeasts, getting creative as they make and discover different bugs through a range of fun activities.

Today, we created our very own indoor bug hunt tunnel! The children loved crawling through and exploring a variety of textures, searching carefully to find all the hidden minibeasts along the way.

It was a fantastic sensory experience that encouraged curiosity, confidence, and lots of excitement!

We’re so proud of how engaged and enthusiastic the children have been during these activities, and we can’t wait to continue our garden adventures together. 🌼

Our nursery has been awarded Runner-Up for Teaching and Early Years Employer of the Year 2026 by our apprenticeship training group Apprenticeship Connect .

This recognition means so much to us, as we are passionate about supporting and developing the next generation of early years professionals. We are so proud of our amazing team and apprentices who make our setting such a positive, nurturing place to learn and grow every day.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and hard working individual to join our team as an early years educator.

Applicants must be child centred and have a good understanding of the Eyfs and safeguarding.

We are a home from home day nursery in a beautiful rural setting in south Leicestershire, caring for children aged 0-5 years.
Hours of work-
Full time, Monday to Friday, all year round.
Working hours between 7am and 6pm.
