This year, Easter Sunday falls on 9 April. Friday 7 April (Good Friday) and Monday 10 April (Easter Monday) are Bank Holidays in the UK. In addition, most University of Leicester administration will be closed on Thursday 6 April and Tuesday 11 April.

2 January 2023 is a Bank Holiday, and the Vice-Chancellor has designated 3 January as an additional closure day. The University will therefore reopen on 4 January 2023.

Free English Classes are back!

Classes are from 6th October till 15th December, Tuesday to Thursday, 2-4pm, face to face.
Online level check will take place over zoom on Tuesday 27 September and Wednesday 28 September, 2 – 4pm.
There are two levels: Pre-Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate.

CELTA is back this autumn! We're running a 10 week TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course on campus every Tuesday and Wednesday between 11th October - 14th December.
