What a brilliant day we had yesterday, celebrating National Number Day.

YEAR 6 TREAT!
As a well done to the year 6 pupils, we treated them to a fun-filled morning of laser tag, courtesy of SH Active Sports
As you can see, they had a great time as well as developing their team tactics and communication skills.

NATIUONAL YEAR OF READING!
Mrs Browell, our office manager, has a big birthday this week, so we thought that we would share her favourite books in our library!
She tells us that these are books that she has enjoyed sharing with her own children and children at school over the years.

WELLBEING WEEK!⭐😍🥰
Mrs Hurst and Mrs Farooq have been busy cooking up tasty treats for all of the staff during Wellbeing Week.
Some of the year 6 wellbeing ambassadors announced the cake trolley's arrival with the ringing of a bell!
Thank you for the mid-afternoon sweet treats.

That's SATs done for another year!
Well done to our hard-working pupils for giving it their all.
They have thoroughly enjoyed their SATs breakfasts and the opportunity to spend time together.
A well deserved day of activities tomorrow before returning to the curriculum on Monday!

NATIONAL YEAR OF READING 2026!
Mrs Cave is an avid reader-she has chosen some fabulous book from our library to recommend to you all.
Some 'good old classic's as well as some more modern choices. Mrs Cave says that these book choices are a mix of books she enjoyed as a child as well as books she has loved sharing with year 5 pupils.

LIONHEART SPEAKS! ⭐📣⭐
What an inspirational evening, celebrating our pupils' individuality and passion, at our annual Lionheart Speaks event .
We are very proud of all the pupils and especially proud of our year 5 pupils, who represented so well.
We loved hearing their speeches on First Aid training for all pupils and Animal Welfare, as well as the group poem, which was recited at the end of the event.
What a special evening!

We are so proud of the 4 children taking part in Lionheart Speaks tonight. They have been such role models and are a credit to the school. Well done!
