🌟 Employee in the Spotlight! 🌟

Say hello to Miss Gunn, our Thrive Practitioner, Family Thrive Course Facilitator and Acorns After-School Club Lead!

Miss Gunn is now in her fourth year at EMPS and plays an important role in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing through Thrive sessions. She works hard to make a safe and welcoming place where children can be themselves, talk about their feelings and feel supported.

Miss Gunn said:

“I really enjoy building relationships with the children, helping them understand their big feelings and watching them grow into confident members of their class and school community.”

EMPS is extra special to Miss Gunn as her dad attended the school too! Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her two children, walking in nature and visiting new places. Fun fact - she owns a hairless dog, just like Dante from Coco! 🐶

🍂 Hello, Autumn!

To celebrate the first day of autumn we thought we'd share with you some of the lovely learning in 1KP.

After reading The Four Seasons and the much-loved The Leaf Thief, the children talked about what we see in each season and got creative making their own seasonal trees.

We’re becoming an OPAL school!

We’re so excited to be transforming playtimes with OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning)! 🛝

Our children will have more opportunities for active, creative and imaginative play, with exciting resources and the freedom to play with children of all ages.
