🌞 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 🌞
Hi Moovers with temperatures soaring this week, I just wanted to let all my lovely Moovers know how we will be adapting classes to help keep everyone as safe as possible.
🐮 Please be aware that unfortunately Bugwicks does not have air conditioning, so we will be doing everything we can to help keep the space as cool and comfortable as possible. We will have fans running throughout the classes with our trusty favourite spray bottle to mist all our Moovers as well as Mini handheld fans for our Baby Moovers.
🐴As it is our Sports Day session this week, I have changed our playlist a little to avoid overheating — we will be slowing things down where needed and our Baby Moovers will be enjoying waterplay too so please bring a change of clothes/towel.
🐑Please bring plenty of water, dress your little ones in cool clothing and bring anything that helps them feel settled in the heat, if you want to dress babies in just a vest/nappy please do.
🐄 As always, please do what feels right for your child — if they are struggling with the heat, it’s absolutely fine to take a quieter approach.
⏰️ All classes will be starting 15minutes earlier this week too, hopefully avoiding as much midday sun.
Thank you for your understanding, and I cannot wait to see you all.

Ok you lovely lot, don’t forget your water bottles and bring plenty of energy with you! 💧☀️ It’s set to be another hot 🔥 week and, as tradition has it (and somehow always seems to land during the warmest weather 😉), it’s sports day week!
Sports day… loosely speaking of course 😉 but we’re ready for lots of fun, smiles and sunshine! 🌞
See you all soon 😘

Good morning Moovers!!
Let's talk tummy time...
My oldest hated tummy time and I honestly struggled to get him to do it. So we mixed it up for him...
So here are some of my tummy time tips you may want to try:
🐮start off with interactive play with babies on their backs. Sing songs like 'Little fingers' to them while wiggling your fingers above their heads left to right and getting them to track your hands from side to side. Lots of tickling, kisses and cuddles along with eye contact will start strengthening their neck muscles.
🐮Get down to their level too. You on your tummy and babies on theirs - babies love interaction, use your voice to encourage them to lift their heads up to find you. Sing songs and rattle toys. Distraction was my best friend... start off in front of them and when they get a little stronger alternate sides so they are turning to find you and strengthening their neck muscles.
🐮Lights and toys... get yourself some sensory flashing lights. Just a little spikey flashing ball, or their favourite toy will help them focus on something other than tummy time.
🐮Mix it up a bit.. who says tummy time needs to be done on the floor?? Why not fly your little superhero on your knees with you lying down on your back. Fantastic interactive fun and great for eye contact and bonding. A great one to do when little one is holding their head up. *Hold on to your baby at all times*
🐮Mirrors - oh my gosh my little boy loved nothing more that to chat away to himself in the mirror.. once he was strong enough to hold himself up he used his toy dog as a 'propper upper'. He spent a good hour admiring himself and chatting away in front if the mirror.
🐮Textures - change up the boring smooth for outdoor fun.. pop your little one on your lawn and let them feel the texture of grass under their bodies..
💥So these are my tummy time tips, please remember babies must be supervised at ALL times! 💥
I also want to add, just be kind to yourself and don't stress if baby is not doing tummy time, these are just tips I am offering from my own experience, the saying 'you can lead a horse to water but you cannot force them to drink' rings very true.. a few minutes a day is perfectly fine, go at your babies pace and don't stress if they absolutely do not want to do it try again another time. Just enjoy parenting if you are stressed baby will be too.
I hope you all have a wonderful sunny Wednesday.

Good morning you lovely lot!! It is another week of fun and games and since I am slightly jealous of all those who have enjoyed Download Festival we will be enjoying our own Moo Fest this week. . .
But I couldn't just end the convo there, here are some great examples of why we do do much eye work 👀 especially in the baby classes.
👀 Evolving eyesight 👀
Arguably, one of our most important senses, we support and help develop your little one’s eyesight with every class we run at Moo Music.
💏 We encourage face to face time (fab for our youngest Moo’vers)
😄 Encouraging smiling at babies (smiles are attractive, are they not?)
🙈 Playing PeekaBoo, it’s Maggie Moo (now you see me, now you don’t)
💃 Tracking shakers and other props as we move them (Shake, shake, shake, shakity shake…)
🌈Using block-coloured props which are easier to see
✨Sensory lights (ooo pretty colours)
👁️👉 Activities that support hand-eye coordination (bubbles, anyone?)
Come and join in the fun, and see for yourself..
We still have a few spots left.
