It’s been a little quiet on our socials recently… but behind the scenes, things at Nova SEND Services have been incredibly busy.

Over the past few weeks we’ve been continuing to grow our consultancy and training work, supporting schools, colleges, professionals, and families to better understand and meet the needs of children and young people with SEND.

We’re really proud to share some exciting updates:

✅ Our Nova SEND Services trademark is now officially registered

✅ We’ve been building stronger links within the local community and connecting with other professionals and organisations who share our passion for improving outcomes for young people

✅ We’ve continued supporting parents and carers to bridge communication with schools — particularly where duties under the SEND Code of Practice or EHCP provision have not been fully implemented

A huge part of our work is helping everyone move forward positively and constructively, ensuring young people receive the support, provision, and understanding they are entitled to.

We also continue to offer:

What an absolute joy and privilege to be invited by Pathways Provision CIC to attend the STEAM Impact Awards at Full STEAM Ahead.

Pathways Provision CIC is an incredible post-16 education provider, and it was fantastic to see their work recognised as winners of the Community Impact Award at yesterday’s event.

It is a real honour to work alongside their team and students each week.

Events like this are such an important reminder of the power of collaboration within our sector, bringing people together to share ideas, celebrate successes, and ultimately create better opportunities for the young people we support.

Recently in maths, we’ve been investigating angles. We even took a walk around our local area to spot where right angles are used in real life. Thankfully, the linesman got it spot on for the football pitch!

It’s been a wonderfully busy few weeks, and we've had so much fun exploring hands‑on science with students.

Wondering what science sessions can look like in real life? Here are a few snapshots from recent lessons. We’ve been investigating the impact of different foods and drinks on teeth, exploring why handwashing matters, and taking on some brilliant STEM challenges.

These sessions are all about building interaction, curiosity and confidence and supporting students to learn in a way that feels engaging and accessible.
