🏖 This week we headed to the beach with lots of songs, signs, sensory learning all topped off with bubbles 🏖.

Our final session before the summer break is next week, when we will be celebrating all the amazing learning we have done this year!

This week at Les Petits Poissons we took a trip to the garden and learned the French names of all the creatures that live there 🐌🦔 🐸🐦🐞 🐜. We had fun with windmills, revisited lots of familiar songs, learned some new signs, played instruments and enjoyed bubble time.

It’s the half-term break next week, but I can’t wait to see everyone back after the holiday for some summer-themed sessions ☀️🌊🏖🐚.

🐌 Slightly late posting this week after a crazy few days! Les Petits Poissons was full of colour this week as we learned all about ‘Les escargots’ 🐌.

Thursday’s session was full of songs, signs, stories, sensory activities and a chance to recap our French colour names whilst creating a beautiful masterpiece to take home 🎨.

So incredible to watch our new (and youngest) members beginning to track the bubbles during our weekly bubble time too 👏🏼.

🌻 Lots of messy fun planting and learning about sunflowers in today’s bright and brilliant session at Les Petits Poissons 🌻

I can always tell when it’s been an action-packed morning when I look at my camera roll and there are hardly took any pictures 😂. Many thanks to those who did take some and sent them to me!

Today, we enjoyed learning a rhyme about sunflowers 🌻; singing about the sun ☀️; using the sensory blanket ✨; practising our counting (backwards 👏🏼); planting 🪴; watering 💦; and reading this beautiful story 📚.

I look forward to seeing how your sunflowers grow over the next few weeks!

Great to be back and brightening up a very grey day with windmills, scarves, rainbows, ribbons and bubbles in our session on colours 🎨. This is one of my favourite French stories about colours and always gets a great response from little learners!

🌻 Don’t forget a spare change of clothes next week as we will be digging, planting, watering and learning all about sunflowers 🌻.

When you plan a spring-themed session…and it snows 🤦🏼‍♀️😂.

Luckily, the sun managed to break through just before we started classes today ☀️. It was a morning of songs, ribbons, rhymes, signs, sensory bottles, books and puppets (the mouse was very popular with lots of our little linguists this morning 🐭).

🐣 Next week is our last session before Easter so get ready to celebrate à la française! 🐣

🌸 Wishing the happiest of Mother’s Days to all the amazing Mums and Mum-figures out there today 🌸.

On this day, that brings so much joy to many, also thinking of all those who have lost their Mums; those who never got to meet them; those who have challenging relationships with their Mums; those Mummies with babies and children in heaven; and those who long to be Mothers.
