Thank you to all in our community for their part in making this year so successful! We wish you a restful and happy summer break, and look forward to coming together again to celebrate Y13 success and to welcome our new cohort of students 👍
3 of our Y12 students worked with recently as part of our extracurricular provision. Their brief: design a mural for the Dover Street car park to discourage engine idling to mark Clean Air Day. Exploring various design ideas, they settled for a message that captured the negative impact of engine idling on health and overall community well-being. Working with Jan from they generated this fantastic concept. I’m sure you’ll agree it’s very impactful! Go check it out if you can; it’s even more impressive in person!

More congratulations to Y12 who took part in the Chemistry Olympiad with University of Cambridge recently. Amongst the results were 3 students who received gold certificates placing them in the top 10% nationally, 14 receiving silver certificates which puts them in the top 30%, and 32 copper awards which represents the top 60%
Well done all who took part!

The results of the recent online Biology Olympiad are in! Congratulations to 18 Y12 students who placed with Gold, Silver, or Bronze! Gold certificates recognise students in the top 5% nationally so an impressive achievement. 33 further students received commendations for their performance! Well done, all 🥇 🥈 🥉
