Business 2 Business was proud to support Circus Starr with a £1,000 donation, helping them continue their amazing work delivering accessible circus shows for disabled, disadvantaged and vulnerable children across the UK. The charity focuses on creating inclusive, welcoming environments where families who might not otherwise be able to attend live events can enjoy a special experience together.

We also provided sensory packs to help make the shows more comfortable and accessible for children with additional needs. After the event, we were sent some great pictures that really captured the atmosphere and scale of the day.

Supporting charities like Circus Starr is really important to us, and as we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we’re looking to keep building on this and do even more to give back and support meaningful causes.

The report led by Alan Milburn has made one thing clear: the UK needs stability, proven

delivery, and leaders with the experience to guide the next phase of youth employment reform.

For more than four decades, Veejay Patel MBE FIEP has led the delivery of exactly that.

Veejay’s track record in the employability sector is built on high‑performance delivery, evidence‑based practice, and employer‑led pathways that consistently help young people move into sustainable work. His leadership has shaped thousands of careers and strengthened workforce pipelines across the Midlands and the wider UK.

It’s time for experienced providers and tried‑and‑tested approaches for young people to have the stability and support they need now.

At the Midlands Economic Summit 2026, Veejay will share what genuinely works — and why the next phase of national reform must be built on proven practice.

He will also announce new Business 2 Business collaborative youth employment pilots due to commence in Coventry, Birmingham and Wolverhampton to support this agenda and create immediate impact bringing together employers, training providers, local authorities, and community partners. This includes a call for collaboration to organisations who want to help shape practical, scalable solutions for young people across the UK.

After 40 years of high performance, Veejay remains one of the most trusted and experienced leaders in our sector.

A huge shout out to our Wolverhampton team for representing Business 2 Business at this year's Nagar Kirtan walk in Wolverhampton over the weekend!

Nagar Kirtan is a lively Sikh procession that celebrates the teachings of the Gurus with music, prayer, and community spirit. It's all about coming together and sharing that sense of unity.

It was fantastic to see our Wolverhampton team actively getting involved in such a meaningful event. Their enthusiasm and dedication really shone through, making the day even more special. As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we’re committed to increasing our presence in community events and charitable causes. At the Nagar Kirtan, we handed out some treats, but what truly matters is acknowledging the hard work and passion of everyone who participates. Their commitment is inspiring, and we’re proud to stand alongside them. Here’s to more community engagement in the future!
