At French Club yesterday, learners followed their recette de crêpes, topping them with sucre et citron 🍋 — and they were truly très délicieux! 🥞
A small school with a big heart where every learner is encouraged to explore, imagine, and achieve.
At Woodstock, we learn together as One Team: Team Woodstock, proud to grow and succeed without limits.

Year 3 learners had a fantastic trip to Bradgate Park, exploring the historic ruins that were once home to Lady Jane Grey, Queen of England for just nine days. They became history detectives, performed a play, and loved spotting local wildlife along the way!

Last Tuesday, our learners enjoyed a delicious experience during French Club as they had the opportunity to sample a selection of traditional French foods.
Ils ont adoré le fromage! (They loved the cheese!) Another firm favourite was dipping their pain au chocolat into hot chocolate, just as many children do in France.
The session was a fantastic way for learners to explore French culture, practise their language skills and try something new. Well done to everyone for embracing the experience with such enthusiasm!

Woodstock learners did the school proud on Friday at Saffron Lane! They competed with determination, showed fantastic sportsmanship, and represented the school impeccably with outstanding behaviour. A huge well done to everyone involved!
Our Year 3 learners have been busy using the Talk for Writing approach to map out their new text, inspired by the wonderful children's novel, The Last Bear.
Here they are using movement and actions to inspire their work!

Here are some wonderful moments from today’s Year 3 learning.
In maths, our learners used coins to help them add different amounts of money, developing their confidence with recognising values and solving real-life problems.
During shared reading, learners rehearsed and performed the poem ‘Whenever you see a tree’, using expression, clear voices and plenty of enthusiasm.
Well done Year 3 for another brilliant day of learning!

Colour, laughter and plenty of smiles across the field today for our Colour Dash!
Our learners had an amazing time running through clouds of colour, cheering each other on and making some brilliant memories together.
A huge thank you to all the staff, who helped make the event such a success.
