The City of Leicester College

On our first morning in Paris, we started the day with a buffet breakfast at the hotel before we head off to the Stade de France. There was a wide variety of options available, including eggs, a selection of meats, fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, and bread. We also had a choice of hot drinks and fruit juice. It was an enjoyable breakfast which has provided us with plenty of energy for the day ahead.

Due to the rising temperatures this week, students also have the option to:
✅ Attend without a tie, or
✅ Wear their TCOLC PE kit for the remainder of the week

PLEASE NOTE:
PE kit must consist of the official TCOLC branded PE top and black shorts of an appropriate length.

Due to warmer temperatures, students will not be required to wear blazers from Monday 22 June 2026.

Jumpers are not a substitute for a blazer. If an additional layer is needed, it should be a blazer. All other uniform expectations remain the same.

Please ensure your child brings a water bottle, which can be refilled at break and lunch.

🌟 A Proud Moment for TCOLC!

We’re thrilled to share the results of our recent Ofsted inspection — the first since November 2019!

Under the new framework, “Expected” is now the national benchmark, and “Strong” recognises schools that have been delivering excellent work over time and making a real difference to children.

We’re delighted that The City of Leicester College has been graded “Expected” for Post‑16 provision and “Strong” in six other areas — a testament to the dedication of our staff, governors, students, and families.

This achievement reflects years of commitment, teamwork, and ambition across our community.

To our new Y7 families - As part of our commitment to supporting our community, we’ll be holding a Pre‑Loved Uniform Sale on Tuesday 30th June (during the new Y7 Parents’ Evening).
