Y3 have thoroughly enjoyed their Beaumanor trip. They had to work as a team to achieve all their different tasks. They had hoop team games to start, a drain pipe challenge and the finished off the morning with a playground challenge and a conga line to the lunch room. In the afternoon, they played night line which meant they did an obstacle course in the dark, blind folded….

Well done to Y3 for all their fabulous teamwork and commitment to the games.

What a fantastic day at our EYFS & KS1 Beach Party! 🌞🏖️
Our children had an amazing time enjoying beach-themed fun, games, music, dancing and plenty of smiles. We wish all of our families a fantastic summer! ☀️🌊🍦

We have tried to remove as many children as possible from the photographs where we do not have photo consent. Please let us know as soon as possible if I have missed anyone.

On Monday, Sam Collins from Collins Coaching lead a whole school assembly about his inspiring football career so far. Each class then had the opportunity to take part in a coaching session with Sam to develop their football skills.

EYFS had a fantastic day at a working farm! We became farmers for the day and helped farmer Iain with all of his daily jobs. Our busy day included feeding the animals, driving the tractor, building a bug hotel, and searching for the tiny creatures that would make it their home.

After a fun-filled day of hard work, we were all very tired, but everyone did a fantastic job. Well done EYFS.

What a fun-filled (and very warm!) day we've had in Year 1 today!🤩
The children had a lovely time creating their own colourful fruit kebabs and were so excited to enjoy their healthy, tasty treats. 😋
To keep cool in the sunshine, we also enjoyed lots of water play and had great fun spending time with our friends. 💦🌈
It has been a fantastic day of learning, playing, and making the most of the beautiful summer weather.☀️✨

Following on from the wet start to the day, the weather stayed dry this afternoon, allowing us to enjoy a full afternoon of activities for our Sports Day. The children took part in a range of events, including throwing, jumping, balancing, aiming, dribbling and racing challenges. Thank you to all the families who were able to attend and support the event. We had a wonderful afternoon together.

What a ROAR-some week preschool have had learning all about dinosaurs! 🦖🦕🌋🦴
We’ve discovered fossils, explored our dinosaur cave and used hammers to rescue baby dinosaurs from frozen eggs.🥚🦖 ❄️
We also used our maths skills to count out ingredients for a bubbling dinosaur stew.🥣🌿
The children have enjoyed a week full of exploring, investigating and making exciting discoveries as they learned all about these amazing prehistoric creatures! 🌋🦕🦴✨

Our preschool children have been cooling off in our beautiful woodland today 🌿☀️

With the weather so hot, we’ve been enjoying the shade, exploring nature, and making the most of our very own woodland area 🌳🍃

We’re so lucky to have such a special outdoor space for our children to learn and explore every day 🪵💚
