The library is now OPEN! 🎉

Thanks to the money raised by you, Overdale PTFA has been able to support two new mini libraries at Overdale Infant and Junior School!

These spaces are for any Overdale families to take a book or donate a book in good condition for others to enjoy. If you’d like to donate a book, simply pop it into the mini library and have a browse for your next read.

You don’t have to donate a book to take one - these libraries are for everyone.

✨ A Fond Farewell to Our Year 6 Leavers ✨

What a wonderful evening celebrating our amazing Year 6 pupils! As they prepare to begin their next adventure, we would like to thank them for everything they have brought to our school community — their enthusiasm, kindness, laughter and unforgettable memories.

We are so grateful to have shared this journey with them and were delighted to celebrate their achievements at the Year 6 Leavers Disco. We wish every one of them the very best for the future and know they will continue to shine wherever they go.

A special thank you to the teachers who took the lead on this PTFA event and helped make the evening such a memorable occasion.

We are also incredibly grateful to the families for their generous support. Every contribution made will help make a lasting impact for the next generation of children at Overdale.

What an amazing achievement - together we raised an incredible £4038 at the Summer Fete last weekend! 🎉💛

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated and supported the event 🙌

This truly shows the power of our community when we come together 🤝✨

This fantastic amount will make a real difference and really help Overdale Schools 🏫💙

A huge thank you to everyone that attended the Overdale Summer Fete yesterday. 🫶

It was great to see so many people attend such a wonderful community event. ☺️

Your support means everything to schools and the children, who will benefit from the funds raised. 🎉

A big thank you to all that helped and supported the event; before, during and after. The event wouldn’t be possible without the team behind it and all the community and businesses that attended and donated prizes.

🌞🎪 Overdale Summer Fete – Calling Our Talented Families! 🎪🌞

Our Overdale School Summer Fete is coming up on Saturday 27th June (12:00–2:30pm) and we’re looking for some brilliant entertainment to make the day extra special 🌈🎉

We know we have so many talented children in our school community… so we’re reaching out to Overdale families 💛

👉 Is your child part of a choir, dance group, band, theatre group or performing arts club?

We would love to invite their group to perform a short 5–10 minute slot on the day 🎤🎵

With over 900 children at Overdale, this is a lovely opportunity for groups to:
✨ Perform in front of a supportive local audience
✨ Inspire other children to try something new
✨ Be part of a fun, community celebration

Our fete is all about bringing everyone together while also raising important funds for the school 💫
