What a week we’ve had!

In out of school club we’re making bee feeders! This is the first stage of the pottery project ✅

Our pre schoolers also set their butterflies free today! It has been wonderful to watch them grow and the children were so calm and thoughtful in waving them off 🦋

We hope you all have a wonderful half term break - see you all on Monday 1st June! ☀️

We're excited to share that we have purchased 3 new chariot tricycle bikes, and 3 balance bikes for the children to enjoy 🚲

Additional funding is always invested back into resources and equipment to support the children's learning, development, and physical skills.

We know the children will have lots of fun while building confidence, coordination, and independence through active play 🥰

A moment of calm inbetween the rain today 🌈

Our Forest schoolers had a very busy afternoon in the garden constructing a shelter 🌿

We were hoping to catch water during the showers but were (un)fortunately met with glorious sunshine! 😂☀️

What an exciting day at preschool today! 🚓✨

We were lucky enough to have 5 amazing police officers visit us in 3 police cars, and the children absolutely loved every minute of it! The officers were so kind and patient, taking the time to answer all of the children’s questions and even letting them explore the cars and press the buttons (which was definitely a highlight! 🚨)

It was such a special experience that sparked lots of curiosity and smiles. A huge thank you to our local police team for making today so memorable for the children—we truly appreciate the time and care you showed. 💙

With a kind and thoughtful donation from a grandparent to commemorate their daughter’s birthday we have bought this beautiful bench in her memory 🤍

Their daughter was one of the first children to attend the setting🪽

Rain or shine, our spirits won’t be dampened! Our puddlesuits and wellies have been getting a lot of use recently but this afternoon we caught some sunshine and tidied up our front garden 🤩

👋🏼Hello!

I’m Sam, Class leader and owner of Story Imagin-Ory South Leicestershire.

🙋‍♀️ I’ve been running the business for the past 4+ years but delivered classes longer
🏫I’ve worked with children (+their families) in a variety of settings and worked closely with education for a number of years
🎭have a background in performance and am quite possibly a bit over dramatic 🫣😆
🧸I want you and your child to have a positive experience - with educationally rich moments that help shape early learning - this is why I believe in Story Imagin-Ory!

Behind it all - I am a mother to 2 incredible children, wife to a supportive husband (who gets kit down from the loft for us to use in classes 😂) and I love to wear lipstick, to be creative, to spend time with friends and to laugh.
Over the last year or so I’ve discovered Netball (after hanging up my own fitness instructor hat due to various health challenges). It’s been great to find something I can just about manage that I also enjoy!🫶
Due to ongoing health challenges - I do have to allow for rest time and so I’m often reading (I love fantasy - things that get me far away from reality!) or on TV I’m partial to a good medical drama!

Ultimately I’m just someone whose doing her best - but when you’re in a class with me, I will transport us all to a magical Story world and I can’t wait to welcome you along for the ride!
