We’re so excited to finally share some wonderful news! 🌱

At Dots & Tots Nurseries, we’ve been working closely with the amazing Louise Mercieca and the team at Tiny Tums to develop our new menus and strengthen our approach to children’s nutrition.

Healthy eating in the early years is about so much more than what’s on the plate. It’s about supporting brain development, growth, learning, concentration and establishing positive eating habits that can last a lifetime.

Receiving our Tiny Tums Bowl of Approval 2026 is a fantastic milestone and reflects our commitment to providing nutritious, balanced meals that truly support children’s development.

A huge thank you to Louise for sharing her expertise and passion. We can’t wait to introduce our new menus and continue this exciting journey together, giving every child the very best nutritional start.

Here’s to healthier plates, happier children and a partnership we’re incredibly proud of! 💚

✨ Everyday Magic Through Play ✨

Whether exploring our fairy garden, sharing stories, or making discoveries outdoors, our children are encouraged to follow their curiosity every day. These meaningful moments help develop imagination, communication, and a love of learning in a nurturing environment. 🌿🧚

Did you know? 💡

What may look like “just play” is actually helping children develop important skills every day.

Balancing activities help build coordination, confidence and gross motor skills, while sensory play encourages curiosity, problem-solving and language development.

At Dots and Tots, learning is woven into every activity! and the children have so much fun they don’t even realise they’re doing it! 💛

We conducted a very formal, and very scientific focus group of cuddly toys. The cuddly toys concluded unanimously, that they have a better night’s sleep when they are sitting outside of a baby’s cot.*

Not only do the toys get a better night’s sleep, but babies are safer too. The safest cot for a baby is a clear cot. That means removing anything that isn’t essential – including teddies and other furry friends.

Babies need just two items in their cot:

- A firm, flat, waterproof mattress.

- Lightweight bedding.

Keeping toys in the cot with a baby whilst they are sleeping could cover their face and obstruct their breathing.

*Please don’t ask us to pull up the evidence on this focus group.
