Can you remember Danielle the Danemill Hedgehog? 🦔

Back in June, Mrs Fretter came to the rescue after spotting a struggling little hedgehog at school. The wonderful people at Digby's Hedgehog Rescue were then able to take care of her, naming her Danielle. 🤎

Mrs Fretter has given us a wonderful update - Danielle the Danemill Hedgehog is now fully grown and has been released into a local garden, where she can be fed with the other hedgehogs that live there! 🦔

Here is her house and feeding station, and most importantly, some trays and dishes of water! ☀️🤍

We would like to say a huge thank you to Waitrose & Partners in Lutterworth, for their kind donations of these beautiful plants, as well as bulbs and soil scoops, following on from our recent ask for support! 🌷🌻

These flowers will be planted in our new garden provision, where children will be able to take part in lots of wonderful outdoor learning experiences. 🥰🍃🍂

🌿 Could you help us to grow our Outdoor Learning provision? 🌿

We have so many exciting developments happening around school this summer! As part of this, one of our outdoor provisions is currently being transformed by our wonderful Mrs Porter. 🥰

This area (currently without a title - our new Eco Council will help with naming it!) will be open on a timetabled basis, for children to have fun, get hands-on with gardening, and discover ways to care for wildlife. 🐞🌱

To enhance our provision and create even more exciting learning opportunities for our children, we are seeking donations of any spare items you may have.

We are looking for:
🪴Any plants
🪑A garden bench
🧺A picnic bench, like the one shown in our photos
🧑‍🌾 Gardening tools - Adult or child sized
🪏 Bark

Every donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and will make a real difference!
