Children can attend full day or part- day sessions, with a minimum of four half day sessions per week. We also give sibling discounts for 2 or more children.

We offer both Full-Term and Term-Time care.

Nursery Educational Funding:
Any child between the ages of 3 and 5 is eligible to receive Nursery Educational Funding. Parents can receive funding assistance for up to 15 hours and there is additional 15 hours that can be claimed if criteria is met to bring a total of 30 hours funding.

The nursery will claim the grant on your behalf and deduct it from the fees detailed above. Please see our T&C’s for the refund calculation. Be aware that you will not be able to claim funding for your child if coming back from Parental Leave during the term that has already started.

Tax Free Childcare:
Tax-Free Childcare can help with the cost of paying for childcare. You’ll need to set up a childcare account, which both you and the government will pay into. You can then use this money to pay your childcare provider.

For every £8 you pay into the account, the government will top it up by £2. The total top up you can get for each child is £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year). This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if your child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year). You’ll usually need to be working (or returning to work) and your child must be 11 or younger (16 or younger if they’re disabled).

No Session Fee if you attend all year round, you will not be charged a session fee.

For hours exceeding your funding:
The first 3 hours (for 22-hour stretched) or 4 hours (for 11-hour stretched) are charged at our daily rate divided by ten.
Any hours beyond this are charged at our standard AM, PM, or Full Day rates.

With the rollout of the UK's Online Safety Act, digital spaces are changing fundamentally. Platforms are now legally required to step up user safety, but parental oversight remains the absolute baseline for protecting our little ones' early development.

If you have a child under five, here is your quick, no-nonsense checklist based on the latest official national guidelines to keep them safe:

🚨 1. Active Supervision & Location

☑️ Supervise Constantly: Always sit with your child during screen time. Co-viewing turns screen time into a valuable bonding and language-building experience.

☑️ Common Areas Only: Keep all tablets, phones, and laptops out of private spaces like bedrooms and bathrooms. Monitoring is much easier when it's done in the living room or kitchen!🔒

2. Lockdown Your Parental Controls

Tech platforms are safer by default now, but they aren't fool proof. Take five minutes to audit your home tech:

☑️ Network-Level Filters: Log into your home broadband router to block age-inappropriate content across your entire Wi-Fi network.

☑️ Remote Monitoring: Use Apple Family Sharing or Google Family Link to remotely approve apps and set automatic time limits.

☑️ Block Stranger Contact: Check the settings on every streaming or gaming app to permanently toggle off private messaging and friend requests.

☑️ PIN Protect App Stores: Put a biometric or PIN lock on digital marketplaces to completely stop accidental or unauthorised in-app purchases.

☑️ Lock "Kids Modes": On platforms like YouTube Kids, set a custom passcode within the parental dashboard so toddlers can’t bypass safety filters.

🥳Party week 🥳

For the foundation units last days, we had some fun party games!
They loved playing pass the parcel, musical bumps, musical chairs, and musical statues.
These memories made will last them a lifetime 🤩

GAMES DAY
The children in the foundation unit had such a fun for their last week before school!
They brought in their favourite board games from home and taught their friends how to play them! They all shared beautifully and enjoyed learning some new skills 🥰🥳

Hamilton Nursery is looking for someone calm, fun and creative to join our team and offer 1-1 support to some of our little ones.

The role would be to support the children on a 1:1 basis.

The working hours will be -
15 hours working Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays term time only.

Previous experience in supporting children with additional needs is essential and a sound knowledge of child development.

Fixed term contract , with a possible extension depending on the needs of the nursery and children attending.

Willing to consider experience over qualifications.
