For the foundation units last days, we had some fun party games!
They loved playing pass the parcel, musical bumps, musical chairs, and musical statues.
These memories made will last them a lifetime 🤩

GAMES DAY
The children in the foundation unit had such a fun for their last week before school!
They brought in their favourite board games from home and taught their friends how to play them! They all shared beautifully and enjoyed learning some new skills 🥰🥳

Hamilton Nursery is looking for someone calm, fun and creative to join our team and offer 1-1 support to some of our little ones.

The role would be to support the children on a 1:1 basis.

The working hours will be -
15 hours working Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays term time only.

Previous experience in supporting children with additional needs is essential and a sound knowledge of child development.

Fixed term contract , with a possible extension depending on the needs of the nursery and children attending.

Willing to consider experience over qualifications.

*🦷Oral Health at Hamilton Nursery 🦷*

🥇 Smile Early Years Award 🥇

We have been working hard over the last 3 years to gain the Smile Early Years Award accreditation scheme for our nursery, (we have bronze, silver & gold) this programme aims to lay solid foundations for good oral health throughout life.

The three key themes are:
🍎 Encouraging Healthy Eating and Drinking
🦷Promotion of Oral Health
🏃 Encouraging the promotion of a healthy lifestyle

Over the past years we have been gaining evidence of how we are promoting healthy teeth, healthy lifestyle and how we are staying active during the day at nursery.

As a nursery we support all our children with daily toothbrushing, providing healthy food and snacks and lots of exercise.

We have had visits from our local dentist to talk to the children about the importance of teeth brushing.

The nursery is now working towards the platinum award for our final year.

We will keep you updated with our journey to better oral health.

We had a lovely weekend last week celebrating the class of 2026 ✨
You have a bright future was the theme, and it was celebrated this way too! Bright and colourful vibes, with the lovely weather we’ve had also 🥰
We wish all our foundation unit the best of luck with their next adventure to ‘big’ school! 😁
