With all the leaver’s posts, it was so wonderful to receive this from a friend of the school, ex- pupil, TA with us whilst studying and now just secured her first teaching job. 11 years ago this young girl headed out of our building as a year 6 pupil 🩷

Leavers Picnic!

Seven years of learning, growing and making memories together was finished off with a picnic and a glorious afternoon of sunshine together. ☀️

A huge congratulations to our amazing Year 6 pupils, who were recognised at our end-of-year awards ceremony. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved during their time with us.

🏆 The awards celebrated excellence across six categories:
⭐ Boy of the Year
⭐ Girl of the Year
⭐ Sports Boy
⭐ Sports Girl
⭐ Effort Award
⭐ Arts Award

Each recipient has demonstrated outstanding commitment, resilience, kindness, talent and determination throughout not just this year, but their time at Greenfield. They have been wonderful role models for their peers and have made a lasting contribution to our school community.

Congratulations to all of our award winners: you should be incredibly proud of your achievements.

Greenfield Rocks 🤘🏼

And the truth is, our Year 6s absolutely rock! We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them for their efforts towards their end of year production.

Whether they narrated, had a lead part, managed props, controlled lights, sorted the music, played an instrument or sang and danced as part of the chorus, they produced a show to be incredibly proud of.

Thank you to all parents and carers who have supported throughout the rehearsal process, supplied costumes and cheered them on during performances.

🏅 What a fantastic way to celebrate the end of another brilliant year of sport at Greenfield! 🏅

In June, our incredible Athletics Team headed to Saffron Lane and returned with an amazing set of results. Out of

48 events, Greenfield achieved:

🥇 13 first places
🥈 10 second places
🥉 8 third places

We are also so proud of our year group achievements:

⭐ Year 3 – Winners
⭐ Year 4 – Winners
⭐ Year 5 – Winners
⭐ Year 6 – Runners-up

🏆 Overall our team won the whole competition by 40 points.

A huge well done to all of our pupils for their determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. You have represented Greenfield so proudly and should all be incredibly proud of your achievements. What a wonderful way to finish the sporting year!
