Woodlands Pre-School Playgroup

Well today we closed our doors for the last time at Woodlands. We have been so touched by the messages of support from our families. We’re delighted we’re going to see so many of our Woodlands children at our sister preschools. But to those who are moving on, we wish you all the very best - we will miss you!
It’s been an adventure Woodlands and we will take away so many memories with us. Think we will all think of that Dragon when we think of Woodlands!

Christmas jumper day at preschool, the children have been busy creating their own Christmas jumpers 🎄🎅

Christmas has officially arrived at Woodlands 🎄

Today the children have been exploring different textures with animals, we then used our hands and feet to explore the textures

To Celebrate the start of the world cup we have had a variety of ball games, we have been looking at different countries flags,and creating our own flag, and medals.

To celebrate children in need this week, the children have been wearing spots or pj's, we've been making cakes, face painting, colouring and talking about being kind to each other.

We've had a lot of team work at preschool this week, the children have enjoyed making dens, obstacle course and collecting leaves together

This week we have continued celebrating bonfire night, we have had the firefighters role play, been creating our firework pictures, rockets, and bread stick sparklers.

Happy Halloween 🎃 the children have been having lots of fun, exploring pumpkins, creating our own pumpkin pictures, and some dressed up

Happy Diwali to all our families, the children have enjoyed making divas, colouring pictures, rice play and listening to stories all about Diwali

Our children have had a lovely week with the children and staff at St Mary's

Some of our other activities this week, we have been making homes for the animals, looking after our babies, puddle jumping and exploring our local community
