Navratri is just around the corner… so it’s time to get your Garba steps ready! 👀✨

Nupur Arts is delighted to collaborate with Garba Flow, led by Parle Patel, for an exciting Garba Workshop!

With over 10 years of experience, Parle will guide participants through Garba movements, footwork, rhythms and choreography, helping you refine your technique, build confidence and deepen your understanding of the style. Expect plenty of energy, movement and a chance to challenge yourself in a fun and positive environment! 💃🏽🕺🏽

📣 Phase 1 of the BE EPIC project is well underway.

- Two days of deep discussions with our Dance Leader, Lauren Russell, Nupur Arts Tutor, Nidhi Joshi and our Associate Artist, Shazia Nazir.

- A research and sharing session with academics from SADE .

- A day in the studio at , working through the Bharatanatyam syllabus and asking: how do we translate, not adapt, these movements so every dancer can access their full meaning?

Next week we take it all into a workshop with the tutor team. Eight tutors. Real conversations. Watch this space. 👀

Nartan Festival ✨

Get ready for the second edition of Leicester's funkiest night mixing together South Asian sounds with Grime, Hip Hop, Jungle, R&B, Garage, Afrobeat and Amapiano 🎵

Local music collective Mirchi Mob have quickly made a name for themselves blending the raw energy of UK bass with the rich rhythms of the diaspora.
