*Semi-Classical Bollywood Workshop- With Nidhi Joshi Nupur Arts*🕺🏽💃🏾

Join us for a 90-minute Semi-Classical Bollywood Dance Workshop to the beautiful song “Ghar More Pardesiya.” Blending the grace and expressive movements inspired by Indian classical dance with the energy of Bollywood, this workshop will explore elegant technique and musicality.

Designed at an intermediate pace but open to all adults (18+), this is the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself, learn semi-classical inspired movement, and pick up some stunning choreography for the wedding season- or simply experience something new in a fun and welcoming environment. No previous experience is required- just bring your enthusiasm!

This session will be taught by Nidhi Joshi, from Nupur Arts.

Nupur Arts is excited to announce the 12th edition of Nartan Festival! ✨

This October and November, venues across the city will once again come alive with South Asian dance, music, storytelling, literature and art. Some of it will be ancient, some of it will be new, and some of it will be a bit of both...

Since its launch in 2015, Nartan Festival has established a legacy of promoting cultural exchange, preserving traditional art forms and fostering appreciation for diverse South Asian traditions. Nartan Festival 2026 is curated by Nupur Arts, supported by Leicester City Council and funded by Arts Council England.

Ānartam, the dazzling showcase of South Asian Classical dance at the heart of the Festival, is already on sale!

This magical evening will feature exceptional live performances of exciting and diverse dance forms by some of the UK's very best artists.
