There’s something very special about sharing sport and PE with nursery-aged children.

At this age it’s not about being the fastest, strongest or “getting it right”. It’s about smiles, curiosity and those little moments when they realise their bodies can do something new. Throw, catch, run, balance, try again, sometimes all in the space of about 12 seconds.

We love watching confidence grow in real time. The child who hangs back at first, then joins in. The proud grin when they catch the ball. The teamwork that happens naturally, without anyone being told to do it. This is where a love of movement begins, quietly and joyfully.
Sport and PE at nursery age isn’t about pressure or performance. It’s about play, encouragement and planting a seed that says movement is fun and everyone belongs.

And honestly, if you can inspire that love of movement this early, you’re doing something pretty powerful, even if it does involve a lot of brightly coloured balls and enthusiastic clapping.

We are looking for a cleaner 2 hours per day Monday to Friday. Hours can be flexible with either early mornings before 7.45am opening or 5.45 pm or later starts. If interested please email. [email protected]
