[email protected] I have been a registered childminder since 1995 and love my job!

I offer a full range of activities such as free play, outside play, stories, crafts, baking, music, singing and more while being a home from home service where children can learn in a homely environment. I also take the children on regular trips to parks, libraries, stay and plays and farms

We would like to thank our amazing parents for helping their children design such beautiful Easter bonnets. They’ve really enjoyed showing them all off to their friends.

🚨 PLEASE READ & SUPPORT CHILDCARE 🚨

The government are planning to remove the 10% wear and tear allowance for childminders – and this will have a huge impact on small, home-based childcare settings like ours.

That 10% isn’t “extra money” – it helps cover the real costs of running a setting from our own homes: heating on all day, electricity, water, cleaning, replacing worn toys and furniture, garden equipment, flooring, paint, and the general wear that comes with busy little feet and hands every single day.

Without it, many childminders will be left with higher bills, more paperwork, and less income, at a time when costs are already rising and funding is stretched. For some, it could be the final push that makes their business no longer sustainable – meaning fewer childcare places for families who rely on flexible, home-from-home care.

There is a government petition to stop this change, and it needs as many signatures as possible to be heard.

Please take a moment to sign, share, and support your local childminders – because when childminders are forced out, families and children lose too. 💔👶🧸
