They’re stepping beyond the classroom to develop valuable transferable skills, gain confidence, and experience the world of work first-hand. 💼✨

A huge shoutout to Leicester Barbering, who first partnered with LEBC in 2022 and have been incredible supporters ever since!

Since joining us, they have welcomed weekly work experience students throughout the academic year, helping over 50 students gain valuable hands-on experience in barbering. 💈

Their dedication to supporting young people and helping them develop real industry skills makes a huge difference to our learners’ futures.

This week, 231 students from Beauchamp City Sixth Form, Beaumont Leys Secondary School, and Rugby Free School are out on their one-week work experience placements!

This week is particularly exciting as Rugby Free School is working with LEBC for the first time, and we are delighted to support their students as they take this important step into the world of work.

We are looking for STEM professionals across the East Midlands to offer Nuffield Research Placements to Year 12 students who come from disadvantaged backgrounds but have a passion for STEM.

STEM covers various subjects, from the traditional sciences to food and sport science.
