Sendiass Leicester SENDIASS stands for: Special Educational Needs and Disability Information Advice and Support Service.

SENDIASS Leicester offers free, confidential and impartial information, advice and support to parents and carers of young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) as well as young people themselves. We have been supporting parents and carers in Leicester City since 1999 (formally as the Parent Partnership service). We support not only parents/carers, but also children and young people aged 0-25 directly. We offer impartial information and advice about the law on special educational needs and disability covering:

Education, health and social care
National and local policy
The Local Offer
Your rights and choices
Your opportunities to participate
Where you can find help and advice
How you can access this support
