How well your heart and lungs hold up under stress is a better real world test of health than any app, home test, supplement or subscription. 💙🫁
Thank you to Billy Ocean 🎶🎤 for your company on my return to running this morning. You helped me drown out the chimp who wanted me to start the ironing and clean the fish tank instead.
Prescription Strength
Dr Lynette Ewart, GP & Strength Coach. I help women in the second half of life get strong, healthy and lose the pills. Start now.
The only people recommending full body testing like this are those profiting from it.
No one working in healthcare agrees it’s a worth the time or money and your chances of finding incidental things that cause tons of stress is very high.
Don’t expect to see anyone with decades of experience here, they can’t be arsed with this nonsense and work in the real world.
Prevention is how you live. Not how often you test.
I actually don’t really mind being asked for an opinion or advice when I walk around the village.
It’s the random disclosure of medical stories, some recent, some from 40 years ago, that I don’t quite get.
😂
Sometimes your body needs a rest
But sometimes you’re slipping into a rest habit and kidding yourself.

That may take much longer than I expected.
Getting back to training will probably help it now, not hinder it.
Have a good day nice people.
So basically the tablets offer more patient choice that’s a good thing. ✅
The risks and side effects are exactly the same as the injections. 🟰
The dosing is lower end.
The trial results for total weight loss are a tiny bit below the injections (but most of the trial data was at the top of the dose scale).
It’ll be interesting to see how it goes down out there.
We will all grow old while the NHS makes its mind up 😆
Comment Clara for the episode link.
Thanks to for sharing her book with me and her time to talk about it.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on our conversation.
📌 To be clear:
✅ This is about the claim that baseline hormone testing leads to BETTER or more personalised HRT.
❌ I’m not saying blood tests are never needed.
📚 For most women over 45, HRT is guided by symptoms and history, not hormone levels.
💉 If a baseline testosterone is checked, it’s generally for safety and monitoring. It doesn’t predict who will benefit from it. Some women respond. Some don’t.
