Did you know babies are born ready to respond to music? ❔

Research shows that music and language use the same areas of the brain - so when your baby hears singing and rhythm, they're developing key skills for communication, listening, memory, and emotional connection. Babies often start experimenting with sound and melody before they can speak - it's one of their first steps towards language!

Our classes offer a friendly and fun way to introduce your little one to music and meet other parents too! We have classes especially for young babies under 6 months and also babies up to walking. We'd love to welcome you!

Music is a wonderful way to support your preschooler's development and prepare them for their next steps. If you’ve got a 3 or 4 year old who’ll be starting school in Sept 2027 this is the class for you.

In our Rhythm Time preschool classes, children don’t just have fun – they build important skills that will help them thrive at school and beyond. Our music classes help boost confidence, listening, and concentration. They also supports language development, coordination, and early social skills like turn-taking and teamwork.

Children also start to understand real musical concepts like rhythm, pitch, and tempo, laying the foundation for future learning – both musical and academic.

Through joyful, music based sessions, your little one will grow in so many ways – all while having a brilliant time.

Our preschool classes run on Tuesdays in Mountsorrel, Wednesdays in Enderby and Thursdays and Fridays in Blaby.

What’s going on in your baby’s brain at Rhythm Time?

Short answer: loads!

Every bounce, beat and bang of a drum is doing big things for their development:

Feeling the pulse? That steady beat helps their brain understand timing and anticipation, which supports everything from listening and language to crawling, walking and later on… even reading!

Bouncing and moving to music or rhymes? They’re building balance, coordination, and muscle control (plus it’s lots of fun).

Playing instruments? Strengthens their fine motor skills, focus and creativity.

Exploring sensory props? Helps them make sense of textures, colours and movement – all feeding into their brain’s early learning and eye muscle development.

Singing and bonding with you? That emotional connection supports their confidence and social development. Hearing is the first sense to be fully formed (even in the womb) and your baby loves the sound of YOUR voice!

We take the cost of a full year of classes and divide that neatly into 12 monthly payments of £21.81 to spread the cost out for you and avoid a bigger termly bill.
It’s cheaper per class than buying a block of classes, and your booking includes unlimited extra classes throughout the week 🤩

This means you only pay for THREE classes in every calendar month, and you have a guaranteed place for as long as your plan is running. No need to constantly re-book every few weeks or risk losing your place 😄
