Our Rhythm Time Pre-school classes give your little one the chance to become more confident and independent while learning through something they already love... music and play. 🎶

During our classes, children practise:

👂 Listening, concentrating and following instructions
🙋 Taking turns and participating within a group
🥁 Rhythm, pulse and early musical concepts
🗣️ Language, singing and communication
🕺 Coordination, balance and controlled movement
💛 Confidence and independence

We encourage our older children to have a go for themselves, make choices, listen to each other and become increasingly independent from their grown-up ... all brilliant skills for that next step into school.

Our programme is progressive and supports key areas of the EYFS, but to your little one?- They’re just singing, dancing, playing instruments and having lots of fun. 🥰

Big skills for their next big adventure. 🌈

🥁 Busy toddlers were MADE for Rhythm Time!...They can shake. They can bang. They can dance. They can sing. They can MOVE! 🙌

But behind all that wonderful toddler chaos, there’s a whole lot of learning happening too…

🎵 Keeping a steady beat develops rhythm and listening skills
🥁 Playing instruments builds coordination and fine motor control
🕺 Dancing and movement develop balance, spatial awareness and gross motor skills
🗣️ Songs and rhymes encourage speech, language and memory
👂 Listening with Ratatat helps build concentration and the ability to follow instructions
🙌 Taking turns and joining group activities supports those all-important early social skills
🎶And amazing tidy skills as they 'pop them in the basket' after each activity.

No expectation to sit perfectly still. No pressure to perform.

Just 30 minutes of music, movement, learning and FUN designed especially for busy little people. 💛

A little hello to all my new followers (and everyone who's joining us for bring a friend week) 👋💕

I’m Jen, the face behind Rhythm Time Leicester! 🎶

I’m a former HLTA, mum of two and I’ve been part of the Rhythm Time world since 2016 — first as a mum bringing my own little ones along, and now as the very proud owner of Rhythm Time Leicester. 🥰

I absolutely LOVE what I do. Getting to watch your babies grow from those very first classes, through toddlerhood and into confident little pre-schoolers is honestly one of the best parts of my job. 💛

When I’m not shaking maracas, banging drums or singing the same songs on repeat 😂, you’ll usually find me being Mum, at the gym, caravanning with the family or attempting to keep on top of the chaos!...we all know the dreaded washing pile!!

Thank you for being here and following along — whether you already come to classes, you’re thinking about joining us, or you’re just here for the Rhythm Time fun! I appreciate you all. 🌈🎵
