🎉✨ TOP HAT ACADEMY OF DANCE IS 9! ✨🎉

On the 17th September, Top Hat Academy of Dance officially celebrated 9 years! 🎩🥳

Looking back over another amazing year, I honestly feel so proud of everything we have achieved and all of our wonderful dancers. ❤️

This year has been another one filled with lots of dancing, hard work, laughter and memories. From our weekly classes and rehearsals, to putting on our annual theatre show and taking our dancers out into the local community to perform at different events — it’s been another very busy but very special year for Top Hat! 💃🕺✨

Watching our dancers grow in confidence, learn new skills and simply enjoy being on that dance floor is what makes all the hard work behind the scenes so worthwhile. 🥰

And now we’re heading into Year 10… and I have SO many ideas! 👀🎩

I’m about to make our timetable bigger and better, with lots of exciting plans already! There are so many things I’d love to introduce and I honestly can’t wait to see what this next year brings for our Top Hat family. ✨

A huge thank you to every single student, parent and supporter who has been part of our journey. Whether you’ve been with us from the very beginning or have joined us more recently, you are all such an important part of what makes Top Hat Academy Of Dance what it is. ❤️

Here’s to 9 incredible years… and an exciting 10th year ahead! 🥂🎉

What a day! 🥹💃🕺🎩

After all the dedication our students have shown over the past few months, all the hard work in classes, extra rehearsals, learning routines and putting everything together, I honestly couldn’t be more proud of them.

They have put on two incredible shows today and they absolutely smashed it! 🌟 I know how much work goes into preparing for a show, and seeing it all come together on stage makes every bit of the stress and worry worth it.

A huge thank you again to Miss Paige for creating some amazing show pieces and to Miss Jess for covering Miss Paige while she was away, and for doing such an incredible job singing in the show today. ❤️

And then, of course, our amazing backstage helpers! Thank you for giving up your Friday evening and pretty much your whole Saturday to help us. I am honestly so grateful to have such wonderful parents who are always willing to get involved and help make these days possible. It really does mean so much to me. 🥰

Sometimes, as a Principal, you worry that it’s never all going to come together. There is SO much preparation, organising and work that goes on behind the scenes that nobody sees… and then somehow, when the curtain goes up, it all magically comes together. ✨

And just like that… it’s done! 😭❤️

I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do with my evening’s now… Oops, actually, I do! I can finally get some sleep at a normal time! 😂😴

I’m going to bed tonight a very proud Principal and will forever be proud of our amazing Top Hat Family. 🎩❤️
