St. Crispin's Grammar and Preparatory School Leicester

We had a fantastic time on our Junior and Senior Heads Reward Trip. This year we went to Mega Zone and battled for first place! Well done to all the students who earnt this reward this term, by being top of our Credit Leader board.

We had an amazing World Culture Day, where all pupils shared their cultures with the rest of the school. Fantastic day, amazing food brought in by our parents, and some beautiful clothes. Thank you everyone for a great day and sharing your cultures with us!

Good luck to all our students who are on Work Experience this week. We have a great variety of placements that have all been sourced by the students, ranging from our Universities to local community museums and shops. All of our pupils have found their own placements, and really undertook the challenge of what work experience is about, from understanding how difficult it can be looking for work, creating CV's, attending interviews and to securing a well earnt placement. Well done to everyone and have a great week!

Our commitment to our Green Flag Award continues with our pupils making armour out of facemasks and our Year 7 collecting 1.4kg of microplastics within 20 minutes. Excellent work!

Here we celebrated the Kings Coronation last Friday with a Coronation Lunch and fun and games with our Year 10's running some traditional games for the younger year groups, including Hoopla, Guess the name of the Bunny and much more. Thank you Year 10 for entertaining our Junior School!

We had great success at our Focus Group this week at Grounded Kitchen. Here we had two focus groups, both Junior and Senior who put together a great menu we look forward to being able to offer to all our pupils in the Summer Term. A big thank you to all the pupils that took part and for Grounded Kitchen for being so welcoming and accommodating. 🥗🍚

Here our pupils are braving the rain to plant our wild flower gardens as part of our Eco School Green Flag Award. Here we are planting wildflower gardens to help sustain our insect population and to help increase natural pollination and as part of our efforts to reduce carbon in the atmosphere as wildflowers absorb as much carbon in the atmosphere as forested areas. 🐛🦋🐌🐜🪲🐞💐🍂🌾🌷🌿

Join in with some of our school competitions. We currently have our ISI Handwriting Competition and our French Speaking Competition. We look forward to your entries!

An amazing day last Friday when we had our sponsored walk, where we aimed to walk over 100 miles throughout the school. We actually walked over 600 miles! Well done to everyone who took part, from our Foundation Years to Year 11. Thank you for all the support and all of the sponsor money that was raised for our charity, Action for Homeless. Fantastic achievement!!🏆🏆🏆🏆

Our pupils have been busy creating some amazing experiments in our Science Club.
