Another year, another Savfest, two stage set up, doing it again tomorrow at Crownfest, and somewhere in between I've got a gig, with yet another kit to build.

Been building again, this was a 14x12" concert tom but is now a floor tom for the Premier Olympic kit putting together. Badge goes on next, then the kit is pretty much, all done.

Another Premier Olympic 1005 snare saved, has had a strip down, clean and a new batter head and modern wires. It's not a minter, but it's a great bit of kit, and perfect for the kit I'm building.

Stripped, cleaned and polished, the tube sections, stripped and sprayed, all looking much better, just need the hoops to arrive and we are done.

A recent arrival, a rare, Polish, Royals snare is crazy heavy and with some very curious engineering. Thought to be 70's or 80's in age, but there's little information online, so if you know anything, I'd love to hear from you.

There you have it, in all of it's crazy, glory, a mid 80's Premier Resonator, Black Shadow, 15x14", 18x16" and 24x16". And no that's not a typo, it really does have a 15" rack tom, this is a one owner kit, bought directly from the Wigston factory. As you can imagine, its like the thunder of the gods, what a beast...

And it begins again, another Premier Olympic kit on the bench, so far I've refurbished the mount and cleaned everything else, parts are on their way and there's a floor tom to build.
