Congratulations to SBC PhD student Kelsey Akers, who has received an award from the American Friends of the University of Leicester.
The funding will support her research and tuition for four years. Her research focuses on clothing made by Jewish Holocaust survivors in the post-war period. More info:

Today we celebrate our very own Betsy Inlow on successfully passing her viva on her PhD Project "Museum Use of Holocaust Graphic Narratives". We also extend our heartfelt thanks to her examiners, Dr Fransiska Louwagie and Dr Nuala Morse, and to Dr Sally Horrocks for chairing the viva. Throughout her journey, Betsy was supervised by Dr Alex Korb, Dr Sheila Watson, and Dr Svenja Bethke.
