Thank you to all who attended last night's welcome event for parents/ carers of the students joining us as Year 7s. Lots of information regarding uniform, transport, and the school day but if you missed anything please get in touch.
We are very much looking forward now to the upcoming transition days where our new learners will get a full taste of life at Beauchamp.

Our Year 9 Languages students are certainly eating well in Paris but I don't think anyone expected them to go to the market, buy their ingredients, and then make the meal themselves.
It's a fantastic experience, the best way to learn the language is to immerse yourself in the culture.

After making their own crepes, our Paris trip students paid a visit to the Eiffel Tower to test their attitude to heights, all passed.

Our Year 9 students have arrived safely in Paris after a calm channel crossing. They've had a good breakfast ready for their busy day.

"Your students are incredibly eloquent" - high praise from the BBC who visited us today to find out what a group of our 13 and 14-year-old students thought about the government's social media ban announcement.
You can hear their thoughts at 6:30pm tonight on BBC East Midlands Today!

📢We’re looking for someone who can help provide a calm and friendly space where students can settle, talk things through and get back on track with their learning.
If you’re patient, approachable and enjoy supporting young people this is a great opportunity to make a real difference in our school 👇

Our Geography department certainly pick some beautiful parts of the world for fieldwork. This week our Year 10 geographers are at work in the Peak District. They measured a cross section of the wonderful River Dove and were blessed by the appearance of sunshine.
