✨ Potion making is in full swing today at Kidaroo! 🧪💧
Our little explorers have been busy creating magical potions and beautiful perfumes using coloured water, pipettes and a variety of pots and containers. 🌈✨
As they tip, pour, squeeze and transport the water, they're developing their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration and early scientific thinking – all through playful, hands-on exploration! 💙
There has been plenty of imagination, curiosity and lots of proud smiles as each unique creation comes to life. We can't wait to see what they'll invent next! 🥰🫧

Two of our children enjoyed using wooden bricks as loose parts to bring their imaginations to life. ♥️
Together, they carefully selected, stacked, and balanced the blocks, proudly telling us they were making robots! 🤖🪵
Loose parts play gives children the freedom to explore, create, and problem-solve using open-ended materials in their own unique ways. As they built their robots, the children demonstrated creativity, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking while experimenting with different shapes and designs.
There is no right or wrong way to use loose parts… just endless opportunities for imagination, discovery, and learning through play.

The children had a wonderful time meeting our pet chickens! 🐓💛
The children were fascinated as they carefully observed the chickens, noticing their feathers, beaks, and the way they moved around. Together, we talked about what chickens eat, the sounds they make, and the importance of being kind, gentle, and respectful towards animals.
These hands-on experiences encourage curiosity, develop observation and communication skills, and help children learn more about the world around them. It was lovely to see so many smiles and hear all of their thoughtful questions! 🌿✨

🌍 Little Explorers in Our Community 🚶🌼
Our children enjoyed a wonderful walk around our local community, taking time to explore the world around them.
During our adventure, we visited the local church and the park, where our little explorers picked beautiful flowers and enjoyed being out in nature. Along the way, they noticed so many exciting things that adults often walk past – the bright green bins, colourful cars, birds, trees, and the different sights and sounds around them. 🌼🚗💚
These everyday experiences help children build curiosity, develop their observation skills, and learn more about the community they are part of. It was a lovely opportunity to slow down, talk about what we could see, and appreciate the little things that make our world so interesting.
Exploring our local area is a wonderful way to encourage confidence, communication, and a lifelong love of learning. 💛

Our babies and toddlers became little space explorers as they designed and decorated their very own planets! 🌎✨
Using colourful oil pastels, our little artists explored mark-making, colours, and creativity as they created unique planets full of imagination. From swirling patterns to bright bursts of colour, each creation was completely individual and special. 🌈🪐
This activity supported fine motor skills, creativity, self-expression, and encouraged our children to explore the wonders of space through art and play.
