📚✨ A tale for me and you ✨📚

There’s nothing quite like sharing a story with a friend! 💕 These two little bookworms enjoyed exploring the colourful pictures, pointing out their favourite parts and sharing their excitement as the story unfolded. Through books, we discover new worlds, spark our imaginations and create wonderful moments together. 🌈📖💫

Through these simple moments, children are developing their communication and language skills, building confidence in expressing their thoughts, expanding their vocabulary and learning the importance of taking turns and listening to others. 🌈🗣

🫧 Sensory Foam Fun! 🫧

Today, one of our little explorers had lots of fun getting stuck into some foam sensory play! 🤍

Using their hands to spread, squish and explore the foam across the tray, they enjoyed discovering its soft, fluffy texture and the different sensations it created. There was even a little extra fun when some of the foam made its way onto their head! 😄

Sensory play is a wonderful way for babies to explore the world around them through touch, while supporting curiosity, exploration and developing those little hand and finger muscles.

Our little one was completely absorbed in the experience and enjoyed exploring the foam for a lovely long time. What a fantastic sensory adventure! 🥰🫧✨

🐸🌿 Ribbit, Ribbit! 🌿🐸

What an exciting discovery in the garden today! 🌱 Dawn found a little frog and brought it in for the children to see. The children were absolutely fascinated! 👀💚
We talked together about the frog’s colour, where frogs live, the movements they make and the sounds they make. 🐸💬 The children were so excited that they began shouting “Ribbit, ribbit!” and hopping around the room like little frogs! 😂🐸

It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn about nature through a real-life experience while developing their communication, curiosity and understanding of the world. 🌎✨ What a fun and memorable learning moment! 💕

🌧️🛝 Burning Off Energy Indoors! 🧗‍♀️✨

🌧️ When the rains too much, we move our physical play indoors! We got out the climbing frame and slide for the children to enjoy. 🧗‍♀️🛝

We encouraged the children to form a line behind the climbing frame and explained the importance of waiting patiently for the child in front to go down the slide before starting to climb. It was lovely to see the children listening, taking turns and developing their understanding of safety and boundaries. 💕

Some children were confident enough to climb over and slide down independently, while others needed a little support and reassurance when climbing over. Our educator stayed alongside the apparatus, supporting each child and praising their efforts and achievements. 🌟

It was wonderful to see the children confidently taking safe risks, challenging themselves, building their physical skills and, most importantly, having lots of fun! 🥰👏

☔️💦 Rainy Day Puddle Fun! 🌈🥾

We looked outside and saw the rain coming down 🌧️, but that certainly didn’t stop us from enjoying some exciting outdoor play! 🌈😊 We dug out our puddle suits 🧥, put on our wellies 🥾 and ventured into the garden to see what we could discover! 🔎🌿

We set off on a very important puddle hunt 💦👀, and one of our toddlers soon spotted some! She excitedly shouted “Come on!” 📣🥰 to her friends, leading them over to the puddles. When they all arrived, they made a HUGE splash together! 💦🦘😂

There were lots of running 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️, jumping 🤸‍♀️, splashing 💦 and plenty of happy smiles 😄. Even our staff couldn’t resist joining in and having some puddle-splashing fun too! 😂🥾💦

It was wonderful to hear so many giggles and bursts of laughter 🤭🤣 and see everyone enjoying the rain together. What a lovely way to make the most of a rainy day! ☔️❤️🌈

🧱🤝 Teamwork and Big Adventures! 🌟

Our toddlers had lots of fun working together using the big wooden blocks! 🧱😊 They helped each other climb up and carefully make their way across the blocks, showing lots of teamwork and encouragement along the way. 🤝💕

Once they reached the end, they encouraged one another to take a big jump off! 🦘⬇️🎉 There were lots of smiles, laughter and proud little faces as they cheered each other on! 😄👏

It was wonderful to see the children building their confidence, balance, coordination and physical skills while also developing friendships, communication and cooperation through their play. 🌈💪🥰

📚💗 A Cosy Moment with a Book

We always encourage our children to have little moments of rest and quiet time throughout the day 🌿✨. Our little bookworm 🐛📖 found the perfect spot to relax, laying on her tummy while enjoying her favourite book. 🥰📚

She was so happy and content 😊💕, completely engrossed in the pictures and pages. It was such a lovely, peaceful moment to see her enjoying some quiet time at her own pace. 🌸📖💫

🚗✨ Little Engineers at Work! 🚜

Our preschoolers got creative and put their imaginations into action! 🌟 They decided to build their very own car using crates, small tyres and even pipes for exhausts. 🛞🔧

When we asked what the pipe was for, one preschooler confidently explained, “It’s for the smoke to come out!” 💨😊

Their creativity didn’t stop there! They went on to build another vehicle and transformed it into a tractor, adding extra crates to create a trailer. 🚜📦

There was so much wonderful teamwork, communication, problem-solving and imagination taking place. The children shared ideas, gave instructions, listened to one another and used lots of new words as they worked together. 🗣️🤝💭

It was fantastic to see their ideas grow from simple resources into something truly imaginative and meaningful! ❤️🌈

🍂 Magical Autumn Adventures in the Garden 🍁

Our toddlers had a wonderful time exploring the garden and searching for sticks, leaves and other little treasures from nature. 🌿🍁

They collected as many as they could find before waving their sticks high in the air like magical wands! ✨🪄

There were lots of smiles and giggles as the children used the leaves and twigs in their imaginative play. Some even hid behind their leafy twigs before popping out and shouting “peekaboo!” 👀🍃 What a lovely way to combine exploring nature with creativity and pretend play.

One little toddler was especially excited to discover some lavender. 💜 She proudly showed us what she had found and brought it to her nose for a little smell. 🌸👃 It was beautiful to see the children using their senses, noticing the different smells, textures and colours around them.

These simple moments of exploring, collecting, investigating and sharing with friends are so valuable. 🌱💚 The children are developing their curiosity about the natural world while enjoying the changing signs of autumn all around us. 🍂✨
