We are rewinding it back to our Sixth Form Summer Ball - a truly unforgettable evening at Prestwold Hall last summer term. ✨

Bathed in glorious sunshine and filled with elegance, laughter, and celebration, the night was everything we hoped it would be. From the glamorous arrivals to the memories made with friends. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the summer term for our Sixth Form students and to give our Year 13 leavers a fitting send-off as they completed their time with us.🌞💙

It has been another fantastic week of our Summer Holiday Camps here on campus! Our Ratcliffe junior students have had the best time enjoying the slip 'n' slide, arts and crafts, dens and forest trails, sports, the mud kitchen, water play, and so much more.

Here's to one final week of summer fun next week! 🙌

Week 3, calls for a day in London! 🚍

Our International Summer School students spent the day exploring some of London’s most famous landmarks yesterday. There was plenty of energy as we watched the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, visited Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, explored the Science Museum, and finished the day at the Tower of London.

Meanwhile, our Steinway & Sons international pianists explored the Steinway Hall showroom in Marylebone, where they had the opportunity to try a variety of exceptional pianos, enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the workshop, and take part in a masterclass led by the internationally acclaimed concert pianist Andrew Zolinsky.

Trips like these are a big part of the Ratcliffe Summer School experience, giving students the chance to discover the UK, spend time with friends from around the world, and enjoy learning beyond the classroom.

Week 2 of our International Summer School and Senior Day Camp has been another busy one, with a trip to Cambridge, English language and grammar sessions, multi-activity sports, arts, team games and plenty of opportunities for students to build confidence, make new friends, and experience boarding life in the UK.

Week 2 at our Junior Summer Camp has been packed with arts and crafts, outdoor games, track sports, smoothie making and plenty of fun along the way.

We have loved seeing everyone getting involved and making the most of the summer.

Ratcliffe parents of Reception to Year 4, there are just a few spaces left for the final two weeks of our Junior Summer Camp, running until 7th August.

It may be the summer holidays, but at Ratcliffe College the campus certainly hasn't slowed down!

We have had a fantastic first week of our International Summer School, welcoming students from Spain, Italy, China and Germany, while also opening our doors to our own pupils who are enjoying our exciting Summer Holiday Camps.

From sports and creative activities, to language learning and new friendships, the campus is buzzing with energy. It is wonderful to see so many young people staying active, curious and engaged throughout the summer.

We are proud to provide an inspiring environment where children can continue to grow, explore new interests and make lasting memories and global friendships every summer.

This is a tremendous achievement and a testament to Jeremy’s talent, dedication and hard work. The entire Ratcliffe community is immensely proud of all that he has accomplished and looks forward to following his continued success.

Our Sixth Form students in Group 512 have arrived safely in Lourdes for their pilgrimage. So far, they have taken part in the beautiful Torchlight Procession and visited the town where St Bernadette grew up. There is so much more to come as they continue this special journey of faith. HCPT

📸Our Ratcliffe College Borneo adventurers have had an incredible few days filled with unforgettable experiences, wildlife encounters, and cultural discoveries. The group has been incredibly lucky to spot elephants🐘 in the wild and achieve the rare milestone of seeing the Borneo Big Five, a truly special and memorable achievement.

From further wildlife spotting and an exciting night-time jungle walk to exploring the ancient Batu Tulug Burial Caves, every day has brought a new adventure. The team has embraced the local culture, enjoying a wonderful evening of traditional Malaysian music and dancing, learning some new dance moves themselves, and sharing special moments with the local community.

As part of their community project, the students helped to clear a lily pond, working alongside local people and forming lovely connections with local children, who were especially keen to join in and lend a hand. With breakfasts overlooking the rainforest and countless moments of discovery, the group is creating memories that will last a lifetime. 🌿🌏

The team continues their Borneo journey over the next final couple of days with opportunities to visit some of Sepilok’s world-renowned conservation centres, including the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, and Rainforest Discovery Centre! 🌏🐒
