Our coach athlete training relationship started on the 10th March. Victoria wanted two things. To sprint faster, and to qualify for the World's Para Athletics Championships.
I coached, corrected, mentored, pushed, beasted her over and over again. Seven months on and Victoria's passion and commitment pushed the boundaries of her performance to achieve two medals and a PB.
What a wonderful experience and a nice ending.

Today is a very sad day.
My beloved running coach, Mr Ron Roddan sadly passed away early this morning, aged 92.
His coaching knowledge was instrumental on the athletics track and produced the highest number of international athletes in GB, including the Olympics, Worlds, Commonwealth and European Champion, Mr Linford Christie OBE.
I would not have achieved 2.14m/7ft high jump and GB honours without him.
I use his training sessions to this very day and helped me achieved a successful business within the fitness industry.
RIP my legend friend. He is the nearest thing I had as a father.
