I recently had the pleasure of speaking to Mark Grain of Extreme H about the world’s first FIA-sanctioned hydrogen-powered motorsport series, why motorsport is such a powerful testbed for new technology, and how hydrogen fuel cells are being proven in extreme terrain under real race conditions.

Across conversations with founders and business owners, I've noticed a recurring pattern.
When delivery starts to slow or outcomes fall short of expectations, attention often turns to what's happening today.
In many cases, the source of the problem sits much further upstream.
Priorities have shifted, new opportunities have emerged, or scope has expanded, but the original plan was never fully reset.
Decisions made in response to those changes can gradually pull an initiative away from its intended direction.
By the time progress becomes a concern, the discussion focuses on ex*****on rather than whether everyone is still working towards the same goal.
Change is rarely the problem - the challenge comes when people respond to change without a shared understanding of the outcome they're working towards.

McMurtry started with a simple but bold idea: high-performance cars had become too big, too heavy, and too compromised.
So they built something small, electric, and brutally fast - the Spéirling.
