We’ve had a super first week back! Smiles all round as everyone was happy to be back with their friends and make new ones!

We learnt about colour mixing as we made friendship handprints.
We enjoyed joining in with the gruffalo story , we are very excited for the new Gruffalo Granny story to come out.
We got out and about around the village and had our weekly library visit!

💛 A little bit about me and why Robjohn Nursery means so much to me…

Hello I’m Tessa Martin

I feel incredibly privileged to be the owner of Robjohn Nursery School and be a part of so many children’s early years. As a qualified teacher, it’s always been my dream to run my own preschool setting. After becoming a mummy in the last year I have a greater understanding of how important it is to find the right setting for your precious child.

For me, children are never just a number in a setting. Every child who comes through our doors becomes part of our Robjohn family. ❤️

I want every child to feel welcomed, valued, listened to and cared for — knowing that they are surrounded by people who genuinely believe in them and want to see them thrive.

My passion is to provide a warm, nurturing and welcoming environment where children feel confident to explore, question, create, make mistakes, try again and, most importantly, have fun! 🌱✨

I believe that these early experiences lay the foundations for a lifelong love of learning. It isn't simply about preparing children for school; it's about helping them develop curiosity, confidence, independence and a love for life and learning that stays with them as they grow.

Seeing the children laugh, discover something new, overcome a challenge or proudly show us something they've created is what makes my role so rewarding. 🥰
