On Wednesdays at 6.30pm we have our ever popular Kung Fu/Jeet kune Do class at Progress Works Gym in Glenfield.

No class tonight (Friday July 17th 2026) as all of the regular Friday night students are on holiday! Classes as normal tomorrow though

Yes, our 6.30pm JKD class at Progress Works Gym in Glenfield is still on tonight (15th June 2026) but we will be finishing 10 minutes early (7.20pm finish) so the we can all get home in time to watch the England v Argentina semi final game!

Sorry Guys but due to the heat, there will be no 6.30pm JKD class tonight (10th July 2026) at Progress Works Gym in Glenfield

Tomorrow is forecast to be much cooler so our normal Saturday sessions will go ahead.

Congratulations to all of our students who graded today. Also a huge thank you to our senior students who voluntarily gave up their Saturday to help out!

Sorry Guys but tonight's (Friday 26th June) JKD class at Progress Works Gym in Glenfield is cancelled due to this heatwave.

Tomorrow's (Saturday 26th) daytime Kickboxing and JKD classes will still be on as normal as the weather should have cooled down several degrees by then.

Fantastic effort and performance for those students taking today's Kickboxing grading! Congratulations to all of you on passing, it was a tough one in this heat.

Special mentions for excellent partner skills, and patience whilst helping out the lower levels should go to Noah, Toby, and Danny.

And although everyone did well, more special mentions for Luna, Gracie, Danny, Toby, Kian, Noah and Ethan who all really impressed me with their effort and skill level today.

Well done to Sifu Neil who joined in with pad holding and sparring for the whole grading. I nearly died from heat exhaustion just shouting out the techniques.
