The Exhibition Visitors will visit Market Harborough on Friday 2 October 2026 and see 'Walking Through Time: Fifty Years of Leicestershire Fieldworkers' in Market Harborough Museum, The Symington Building, Adam and Eve Street, LE16 7LT. We will meet in the cafe from 12.30 and view the exhibition from 1pm.

Archaeology Discovery Circle: Tuesday September 29 at 1pm our Martin Morgan-Taylor will give us a guided tour of Jewry Wall. We will meet promptly at 1pm in the cafeteria of the Jewry Wall Roman Museum for immediate entry. We will have a chat afterwards.

TOMORROW we admire trees in Abbey Park from 2pm (1.30pm for mingle)

The Vaughan City Explorers head to the Abbey Park on Sunday September 6 to explore trees with one of Leicester's tree wardens. We will meet at 1.30pm in the Peppercorns cafeteria for a 2pm walk.

It's one week until our taster session for our 'Learning to be a Facilitator course' which starts at the end of September.

The aims of the taster are to:
 give you a flavour of the delivery format
 offer you the opportunity to ask more detailed questions
 introduce you to the staff leading the sessions
 enable you to meet other potential participants
 be an opportunity to ask for advice in filling in the application.
