Today’s Sports Day was a fantastic celebration of determination, teamwork and school spirit. We even saw several records broken, making it an unforgettable day of competition.
A huge well done to every student who took part, cheered on their peers and gave their best throughout the day. Thank you to all of our staff who helped make the event such a success – it was great to see so much encouragement and support from everyone involved.

We’re proud to support former Gartree student James Arnold, who is taking on the incredible challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro this summer in aid of the Meningitis Research Foundation.
James has been working hard to raise his £3,000 fundraising target through a range of events, including fundraising poker nights and an upcoming 72-hole golf challenge.
If you would like to support James and this fantastic cause, please consider making a donation via his JustGiving page. Every contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated.

We wish James the very best of luck with both his fundraising and his climb!

A reminder that Sports Day takes place tomorrow!
Students should come to school wearing their PE kit and bring a refillable water bottle to help them stay hydrated throughout the day, especially with the warm weather forecast.
We’re looking forward to a fantastic day of competition, teamwork and school spirit. Good luck to everyone taking part!

Year 10 Geography students are going to Hunstanton on Monday next week to complete a coastal study on the impacts of coastal management on coastal processes and the local community (students need to be at Gartree High School by 7.00am and will return by 7.00pm in non-school uniform and comfortable shoes). Students will need to walk home or arrange to be collected on their return to Gartree High School.
Students need to bring a bag containing a pencil case, mobile phone, water bottle, spending money for food and drinks, snacks and any medication/inhaler/EpiPen (if appropriate). Students should dress appropriately and check the weather to see if a coat, umbrella, suncream or hat is necessary.

Yesterday afternoon, students enjoyed a range of activities back at Le Moulin, including archery, circus practice and a talent show judged by our wonderful staff team.
The evening continued with a traditional French dinner followed by a karaoke disco. Despite the hot weather, everyone had a fantastic time, with plenty of smiles, laughter, and memorable moments throughout the day.

This week, our Year 10 students have been out on work experience, gaining valuable insight into the world of work across a variety of industries. It has been a fantastic opportunity for them to develop new skills, build confidence and explore potential career pathways. We look forward to hearing all about their experiences and celebrating their achievements when they return to school.
