🏰 WE’RE HIRING WORKSHOP LEADERS! 🏰

Do you love history? Enjoy working with children? And fancy spending your days bringing the past to life in schools across the country?

Historic Workshops is looking for enthusiastic, confident and reliable Workshop Leaders to join our team.

Our Workshop Leaders travel to primary schools and deliver immersive, hands-on history days — stepping into character, leading activities and giving children an experience they’ll remember.

We’re looking for people who are:

✨ Energetic, enthusiastic and personable
🎭 Confident presenting to large groups of children
📚 Passionate about history (you don’t need to be a history expert!)
🚗 Comfortable with long-distance travel and early starts
🧠 Organised, reliable and able to think on their feet
👩‍🏫 Experienced working with children

This is a self-employed role, with a minimum expectation of 2 days’ availability per week during term time. Our schools are located across the UK, so this role is not local — you must be willing to travel significant distances when required.

You’ll need your own vehicle and sufficient space to transport and store workshop equipment.

We offer a competitive day-rate and compensate for mileage costs.

Immediate start is an option if desired.
