LOROS is a lifeline for families in their most difficult moments — providing specialised, compassionate care tailored to each terminally ill patient. Your generosity directly funds these vital services.

🌍 £4,000 to Love Support Unite UK
Supporting vulnerable communities in Malawi. But here's the thing — our young riders learned that when they give, they're helping other kids just like them, half a world away. That's the power of children helping children. That's what real generosity looks like.

This isn't just about fundraising. It's about what happens when a community comes together for something bigger than itself. It's about our kids learning that courage and kindness matter.

🐴 Our Pony club members have been working hard over the last few months training for competitions and earning achievement badges and last night we came together for an awards night to celebrate their achievements.
A massive well done to all our members 👏 we have been so impressed with how well you have all ridden in your competitions this week! Also a big thankyou to our Pony club parents for your ongoing support!

The Bare Back Challenge!! 🐴🐴🐴

Here is everything you need to know about the challenge.

* we are continuing our fundraising until sun 6th sept- you have until then to do the challenge and collect your donations towards the 2 amazing charities.
* we are fundraising for LOROS and Love Support Unite.
* the top 3 fundraisers will win a prize, they will each own one of our riding school ponies for the day.
* most of the group lessons are taking part in the challenge over the next few weeks, please ask your instructor all about it.
*if you only ride on private lessons you can take part! Just ask your instructor and they will do it on your lesson.
* the sponsor form will be attached to this post, please have it ready to hand in with all donations on or before sept 6th.
* you can also collect the money in and donate through just giving, send it in one payment with the riders name and let me know.

🐴❤️ THE FUNDRAISING CONTINUES AT PARK VIEW! ❤️🐴

First of all, a HUGE thank you to everyone who came along, supported, donated and helped make our 80s at the Stables night such a fantastic success! 🪩🎶

The figures are looking amazing and it appears we raised just over £5,000 on the night! 🎉

We honestly can’t thank you all enough.

But we’re not stopping there… now it’s time for the amazing kids at Park View Riding School to take on their own fundraising challenge! 🐎

Our riders will be taking part in a Ba****ck Riding Challenge, raising as much money as they can for our two fantastic charities:

❤️ LOROS Hospice
❤️ Love Support Unite

And there’s a little extra incentive…

🏆 The TOP 3 fundraisers will each get their OWN HORSE FOR THE DAY at Park View! 🐴✨

80s at the Stables — THIS FRIDAY 21st Aug 🎸

Everything you need for the night:

💜 **It's all for LOROS & Love Support Unite.** LOROS have had to cut inpatient beds from 31 to 20 and slash therapy services by up to half because of a £2m shortfall — this is genuinely needed. LSU do incredible sustainable development work in Malawi and was started by two sisters from Thurcaston. All profits go to these two fantastic charities.

🎟 **Doors 6.30–7.30pm.** Paul & Charlie on the gate for a meet and greet — got your wristband already? Show it, grab your welcome drink, grab your first raffle strip off Paul. Booked online? Give your name, get your wristband and drink. Bringing extra people? Buy on entry in that window — after 7.30, grab tickets at the bar instead.

🎰 **The raffle is stacked this year** — weekend away for 8 in a gorgeous Bakewell cottage, Park View riding vouchers, a garden bench and loads more. Full list pinned up on the night. Strips are £5 — grab a few, it all counts.

📅 **Rough running order:**
6.30–7.30 — doors, welcome drink
~7.30/45 — Forever 80s, first set (45 mins)
8.30 — band break, tunes on the speakers
~9.00 — second live set
9.45 — grab a drink, raffle's coming up
10.00 — raffle draw, top 3 prizes live on stage, rest on the board in the bar
10.15–11.00 — grand finale set, dancing shoes on
Bar closes 11.30pm

🍕 Pizza van all night, from £12. Kids' stand with sweets, crisps & soft drinks. Plenty of soft drinks at the bar too for anyone not drinking — both menus attached below.

🚗 **Parking** — park sensibly, don't block anyone in. If you're 100% driving your car away that night, you're welcome to park on the arena. If it's staying overnight, please don't — we've got lessons on there at 8.30am. Please avoid the road too, plenty of room on site.

🚻 **Toilets** — portacabin by the meet and greet spot, separate ladies' and gents'. Please don't use the cabins or the plants — most of it's our veg garden and we don’t want to get drunk of eating our home grown carrots

🚬 **Smokers** — there's a designated smoking area, please stick to it.
