Sam’s Childminding

The past few weeks the children have really enjoyed all things mini beasts. We have explored the garden searching for bugs and insects and learnt about different habitats. The children especially enjoyed using magnifying glasses to investigate what they found and taking part in mini beast themed crafts, stories and activities. 🐞🐛🪲🕷️

World Book Day 📚

We read lots of books and did colouring pictures from some of our favourite stories.

The children also had lots of fun exploring our Gruffalo themed tuff tray, using magnifying glasses to look closely at the woodland animals and bringing the story to life through play. 🌳

🎃This weeks Pumpkin Patch Adventures🎃

We had such a fun (and muddy!) morning exploring the pumpkin patch! The children loved searching for the perfect pumpkins, splashing in puddles, and meeting some colourful hay bale friends along the way. 🍂👩‍🌾

Then back for party time!

🌿 A Fun-Filled Trip to the Play Patch! 🌿

Everyone had such a lovely time exploring the play patch!
We used all our senses to discover the world around us:

👋 “What can you feel?”
👃 “What can you smell?”
👀 “What can you see?”
👂 “What can you hear?”

The barefoot walk was definitely a favourite there were plenty of giggles as the long grass tickled our feet! 🍂🌾

We also enjoyed time in the reading books, played together in the sand pit, and put on a fantastic puppets how such wonderful imaginative play!

It’s always lovely to see everyone exploring, laughing, and learning through play. 💕🌱

All things autumn 🍂 🍁

🌻 All of the children have really enjoyed planting their own sunflowers and watching them grow week by week. Everyone has done a great job at watering them every day. We cannot wait for them to get bigger and flower!

The children planted extra so they can also be enjoyed by all at home I Look forward to hearing about how everyones sunflower is growing. 🌻

What a busy summer! We have had lots of fun exploring, water play, party’s and a few treats for the not so little little ones leaving for school 🥹.

And now autumn is here and we have got lots of new starters settling in lovely 🥰
